Officers have been made aware of the incident after it was caught on video by a driver's dashcam recorder and posted on Youtube.

The footage shows a motorcyclist in the inside lane appearing to shout at a driver before the man jumped out of his vehicle, ran round it and shoved the biker to the ground and then kicking him.

After the driver walks away the biker then walks round the vehicle and challenges the man in the road as cars behind are forced to remain stationary as the incident unfurls.
