Vicky Hamilton killer in hospital

Serial killer Peter Tobin has been taken to hospital with a suspected stroke.

The man who murdered Redding schoolgirl Vicky Hamilton fell ill in his cell at HMP Edinburgh in Saughton and is believed to be in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary after being taken there by ambulance.

The twisted killer is serving three life sentences for the murder of Vicky, who was just 15 when she disappeared in 1991, Dinah McNicol (18) from Essex and Polish student Angelika Kluk (23).

Tobin (69) was convicted of abducting, raping and murdering Vicky in December 2008.

It will be 25 years to the day on Wednesday when Tobin abducted Vicky as she waited on a bus home to Falkirk from Bathgate.
