The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was called to Ladysgate Court shortly before 2pm today.
A witness told The Falkirk Herald they heard an “explosion” prior to seeing smoke coming from the vehicle.
A spokesman for the emergency service said: “Operations Control mobilised one fire appliance to the scene where crews extinguished the flames.
