UK Parliament committee comes to Falkirk for bedroom tax meeting

The UK Parliament’s Scottish Affairs Committee will visit Falkirk for the first time to dicuss the impact of the Bedroom Tax.

The meeting will take place at Falkirk Town Hall on Monday at 1 p.m. and representatives, including Falkirk Council leader Craig Martin, chief executive Mary Pitcaithly and Bill Palombo of Grangemouth CAB, will be putting forward evidence of the hardship the new legislation has caused locally.
