Two arrested as Cannabis seized in Grangemouth and Camelon

An 18-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man have been arrested and charged by police in Forth Valley as they recovered a significant quantity of the Class B drug from the Falkirk area on Thursday, April 14.

Officers executed search warrants at properties in the Bellsdyke Road area of Grangemouth and the Carmuirs Avenue area of Camelon.

Local officers recovered a large quantity of herbal and resin Cannabis from the locations.

Sergeant Andrea Campbell said: “A significant quantity of drugs have been taken off our streets and we hope it sends a clear message that drug dealing of any kind will not be tolerated.

“Information from the public is vital in helping us to tackle drug crime and I want to reassure our communities that we will act on the information provided to us.
