Work has been completed on the track which caused passengers travelling from Glasgow to Edinburgh via Falkirk High disruption.
Safety checks were carried out on the line after reports stated there was a broken rail near Polmont causing the trouble. Engineers fixed the problem but had to close the line while doing so. The route is now open however disruption is expected until after 2pm.
If the problems delay you by 30 minutes or more, compensation can be claimed at www.scotrail.co.uk-delay-repay. More information can be found at www.journeycheck.com/scotrail.
