Two injured following crash near Clackmannanshire Bridge

Traffic is still slow following a crash near the Clackmannanshire Bridge which caused two injuries and the closure of the road.

The collision happened just before 10am between the A876 between Bowtrees roundabout and junction 3 of the M876 at the Higgins Neuk roundabout.

Two people received minor injuries and the northbound road was closed while a diesel spillage and debris was cleared by the local authority.

Traffic Scotland say all lanes are restricted and traffic is moving slow, but the area has now been cleared. Traffic was tailed back all the way back to the M9 junction and police have warned drivers to avoid the area if possible.
