Police are appealing for information after a young Falkirk man was killed while working in the Highlands.

Craig Tetsill died after being hit by a works van after working on a remote road near Gorthleck in Inverness-shire last Thursday at around 6.10 p.m.

Craig and his father Andrew had been working together and were on their way back to where they were staying when it’s thought the 21-year-old fell off his bike and was hit by their Ford Transit pick-up van in a tragic accident.

An investigation was carried out at the scene by Police Scotland’s Highland and Islands road policing unit.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
