Staff praised for saving footballer's life
Defibrillators were used to save a man's life who collapsed with a heart attack as he played football last night.
The 57-year-old was playing football at the Bo’ness Recreation Centre when he suffered a cardiac arrest.
Falkirk Area Commander, Chief Inspector Damian Armstrong, said the “quick” actions of staff, as well as access to defibrillators in the centre, helped save the man’s life.
