Overnight road closures on M876 near Larbert

A section of the westbound M876 near Larbert will be closed overnight later this month to allow resurfacing improvements to be made

The roadworks are scheduled for five nights from 19.30pm to 6pm between Wednesday, November 25 and Sunday, November 29.

For the safety of road workers and motorists, the westbound carriageway of the M876 will be closed between Junction 8, Kinnaird Hill and Junction 2, North Broomage during these works.

A signed diversion route will be in place directing westbound traffic around the works via M9 Junction 9, Bannockburn and the M80 southbound.

Motorists wishing to re-connect with the M876 for Junction 1, Denny or Junction 2, North Broomage, will be further directed via the M80 Junction 7 Haggs and back eastbound. This is estimated to add between five and 15 minutes to journey times, depending on destination.

All traffic management will be removed during the daytime.
