Sightings of the helicopter have been reported across the region.

The PDG Aviation Services rotorcraft has been carrying out rail and infrastructure aerial surveys of the area on behalf of Network Rail, the company has confirmed.

The G-NLDR helicopter has been specially modified and equipped to Network Rail's specification and features advanced technology to deliver such surveys.

PDG Aviation Services provides helicopters for chartering, lifting and filming.
