Grangemouth road closed for essential works by Scottish Water

Scottish Water has completely shut off a road in Grangemouth to carry out emergency repair works on a broken sewer pipe.

The bottom section of Craigleith Road, near Bowhouse Road, has been closed since Wednesday.

A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “The work taking place in Craigleith Road, Grangemouth was to repair a broken sewer. This work was carried out as an emergency on Wednesday, April 15 and required a road closure.

“We are reinstating the road this evening with a view to re-opening it as soon as possible. We would like to thank customers for their patience whilst we carry out this essential work.”
