Falkirk town centre Christmas shoppers offered full refund on parking

Shoppers are being offered a full refund on parking in Falkirk town centre over the festive period.

From December 1-23, the area’s Business Improvement District (BID) will cover parking costs from Monday-Wednesday, provided customers spend a minimum of £10 within the town centre.

Refunds can be claimed at the Steeple Box Office from 10am-5pm on the same day of the purchase.

To receive money back, shoppers must present a picture of their parking ticket – taken on a camera or mobile phone – or buy one through the RingGo app.

Shoppers must also provide a receipt proving a purchase of £10 or more. Refunds will be given in cash only.

The ‘free after 3pm’ initiative will still be in operation from Monday-Saturday, with free parking available on a Sunday.

The BID has also confirmed Falkirk will be one of five areas to benefit from a new District Towns Gift Card which encourages shoppers to spend locally.
