Falkirk area train services facing disruption due to signalling fault

Rail commuters in Falkirk district may experience disruption following a signalling system fault.

ScotRail has confirmed services between Glasgow Queen Street and Edinburgh are operating half-hourly, with trains departing both Queen Street and Waverley at quarter past and quarter to the hour.

Services between Queen Street and Dunblane will be diverted and will not call at Bishopbriggs, Lenzie or Croy.

The operator tweeted to say the issue had been resolved, however, it has since stated the fault has reoccured.
