Tragedy as woman dies in her home

Police say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the tragic death in McDonald Crescent.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police in Forth Valley were alerted to an address in McDonald Crescent in Falkirk at around 8.30am on Tuesday, November 1 after receiving a report of concern for a female occupant.

“Unfortunately and despite the best efforts of paramedics a woman in her forties was pronounced dead at the scene.

“There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
