The incident at the premises in Bonnybridge Main Street occurred at tea-time on Monday.
Smoke was seen pouring from the former Bonnybridge Social Club.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene and remained till almost 9pm making the building safe.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 6.28pm on Monday, August 27 to reports of a building fire in Bonnybridge.
“Operations Control mobilised two fire engines to Main Street, where firefighters extinguished a fire within a single-storey building.
“There were no casualties.
“Crews left at 8.44pm after ensuring the area was made safe.”
The social club closed in May 2016 after going into voluntary bankruptcy after member numbers dwindled.
