Traffic chaos after truck and car collide on M9
A pick up truck and car were involved in a smash on the M9 near Grangemouth this afternoon.
The incident, which happened at 1.30pm, saw a collision between a red pick-up truck with a trailer and a cream Ford Ka on the southbound stretch of the motorway at the Grangemouth Junction.
Police and ambulance personnel were quickly on the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “There doesn’t appear to be any serious injuries, although one woman was receiving treatment for a minor injury. There are reports of tailbacks as a result of the incident.”
