Comedian Freddie Starr has cancelled his gig in Larbert tonight.
The veteran comic was due to take to the Dobbie Hall stage as part of his ‘Back from the Jungle’ tour.
However the comedian is apparently suffering from exhaustion following a sell-out show in Chesterfield on Sunday night.
A spokesperson for Wigwam Concert Promotions said: “A lot of work had gone into making Freddie’s appearance in Larbert work out and it was just short of a sell-out.
“We extend sincerest apologies to all who had pre-booked seats or were intending to attend the show. Obviously the main priority is ensuring ticket holders are refunded and this can be done via the relevant ticket agencies.
‘‘At this stage there is no word on a possible re-scheduling of Freddie’s tour dates.
“We deeply regret any inconvenience and disappointment felt by concert goers. Unfortunately you must understand this was totally out with our control.”
