Music legend Sir Tom Jones will play only one Scottish date on his European tour – and it’s in Falkirk.
The Welsh singer will perform at Rock the Stadium on Saturday, August 1.
Thousands of fans will converge on Falkirk Stadium for the performance, which is the latest in a series of concerts organised by the football club’s events company.
Previous crowd-pullers inlcuded Elton John, Rod Stewart, Status Quo and Ronan Keating.
Delighted to be coming to Falkirk, Sir Tom said: “I am pleased and excited to announce my 2015 tour. Coming to Scotland will be a highlight as I have fond memories of past Scottish concerts and the fans always make me so welcome.
“I’m looking forward to performing in Europe and the US later this year – it’s going to be a great tour and I promise a fantastic Scottish show.”

Sir Tom will embark on his 2015 US and European tour in June, presenting shows which will appeal to an eclectic mix of music lovers.
He has just returned from the US where he performed at the 57th annual Grammy’s and is currently a coach on BBC One’s hit show, ‘The Voice’.
