Thieves steal £17,000 of cycling equipment

A break-in at a bicycle shop saw the culprits make off with £17,000 worth of mountain bikes and equipment

Bespoke Bikes in Denny fell victim to an overnight break-in

The incident, which happened at Bespoke Bikes in Duke Street Denny, last night, is now being investigated by police.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Forth Valley received a report of a housebreaking at a bicycle shop in Duke Street, Denny which happened sometime overnight at between Thursday and 10am today.

“A quantity of high value mountain bikes and equipment valued at over £17,000 was stolen. Anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious on Thursday night or the early hours of Friday morning is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101.”
