This Thursday, The Falkirk Herald will be publishing its traditional primary seven supplement, part of a bumper 140-page edition.
The picture special is a big favourite with both parents and children as it marks the step up to high school after the summer holidays.
But, as you can imagine, it’s a big job for chief photographer Michael Gillen with a grand total of 63 class shots having been taken over the past few weeks.
Sometimes it can be a bit of ordeal for the children as well as they’re manoeuvred into position and asked to give us their best smiles.
So, for a bit of fun, we let them express themselves more freely after the official picture was taken ... and here’s the results.
Don’t forget you can see the more usual line-ups in this week’s Falkirk Herald!
