Any East Dunbartonshire sports club or organisation not yet a member of the Sports Council is encouraged to come along and join the organisation to have a voice on the future direction of sport in the area and to access funds to develop your particular sport.

Affiliation to the Sports Council provides access to club, marketing and coaching grants for clubs and talented sport performer grants for individuals (subject to terms and conditions).

Sports Council Chairman Lee Hemphill said: “By getting involved with Sport ED, there is an opportunity for clubs and their members to share knowledge, meet important local sports contacts, but more importantly access funding and get support for training, competitions and championships.
