Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. Helen Cook. On door duty were Charlene Condeco and Fiona Miller. Bible readings were by Charlene Condeco. This Sunday, the Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at 11.15 a.m. and a warm welcome is extended to everyone to come and join us. Tea and coffee will be served after the worship. The Congregational Board will meet on Wednesday, September 10, in the church at 7 p.m., followed by the Session Meeting. The Friendship group will meet in the church on Tuesday, September 9, at 7 p.m. Anyone requiring the services of a minister, should contact Rev. Helen Cook on 01786 464128.

Angling Club

Permits to fish on the River Avon for season 2014 are now on sale. They are available from Linda’s Store (Slamannan); Rod and Creel (Carronshore); Go Fishing (Grahams Road, Falkirk) and also in Maryanne’s Alterations (Bo’ness), Linlithgow Post Office, Curries Printers in Broxburn and Livingston Angling (Houston Industrial Estate).
