Last Sunday was the final service in the church for some months while restoration work takes place. A wonderful uplifting service was conducted by the Rev. Monica MacDonald and a lovely opening solo was sung by Grace Douglas. On door duty were Linda McGarry and Ray Buchanan. This Sunday’s service will take place in Slamannan Bowling Club at the usual time of 11.15 a.m. All welcome. Sunday School meets at the same time. All children from three years of age are welcome to come along and make new friends, while enjoying arts and crafts, games, songs and Bible stories. Boxes will still be available for donations to the Falkirk Food Bank. All non-perishable items are greatly appreciated. All articles for the church magazine should be given to Charlene by Sunday, November 2. Anyone requiring the services of a minister, should contact the Rev. Monica MacDonald on (01324) 874807.
