Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Reverend Helen Cook. On door duty were Charlene Condeco and Robert Campbell, readings were by Lady Jane and Ray Buchanan. The funeral service for Bill Grant (Sonny) was held at Falkirk Crematorium on Friday, March 21, and the casket interment took place at Slamannan Cemetery on Tuesday, March 25 - our deepest sympathy goes to the family. The Mothers Day hamper draw realised the sum of £123 and grateful thanks to everyone who bought tickets. The pastimes and yesteryears event will take place in the Church on Friday, April 4, from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, April 5, from noon-4 p.m. teas will be available. This will be a worthwhile event with many items, pictures and stories of how life used to be in the village. The Sunday School meet in the church at 11.15 a.m. and is open to all children of primary school age. Anyone requiring the services of a minister, please contact the Rev. Helen Cook on 01786 464128.
