Angling Club

Permits to fish on the River Avon for season 2015 are now on sale. They are available from Linda’s Store (Slamannan); Rod and Creel (Carronshore); Go Fishing (Grahams Road, Falkirk) and also in Maryanne’s Alterations (Bo’ness), Linlithgow Post Office, Curries Printers in Broxburn and Livingston Angling (Houston Industrial Estate). Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by Rev. Monica MacDonald. On door duty was Linda McGarry. during the service a lovely song was sung by the Church Praise singers. A warm invitation is extended to all to come along to the rose tea on Sunday at 2 p.m. held at ‘Ardtalla’ Kirkburn, Slamannan. There will be crafts, home baking, tombola and other stalls and, of course, a lovely tea and a time to chat. The Friendship Group summer outing to the Dutch Inn will take place on Wednesday, July 15.
