Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. Monica MacDonald. The Sunday School children took on the leading role in the Nativity presentation and the fourth Advent candle was lit by Ellie Baird. During the service, we were privileged once again to the lovely singing from sisters Grace Douglas and Barbara Scobie. The Watchnight Service will take place tonight (Wednesday) in the Community Centre meeting from 10.30 p.m. for tea/coffee and enjoy the singing of carols before the service which will begin at 11.30 p.m. a warm invitation is extended to all. Angling Club

Permits to fish on the River Avon for season 2015 are now on sale. They are available from Linda’s Store (Slamannan); Rod and Creel (Carronshore); Go Fishing (Grahams Road, Falkirk) and also in Maryanne’s Alterations (Bo’ness), Linlithgow Post Office, Curries Printers in Broxburn and Livingston Angling (Houston Industrial Estate).
