Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. John Jenkins. On door duty was Janette Baird. The third advent candle was lit by the Sunday School while Grace Douglas sang two lovely Christmas hymns. The Friendship group enjoyed a night at the Town hall to see Cinderella last Wednesday and yesterday (Wednesday) they held their annual Christmas dinner at the Beancross Restaurant. A warm invitation is extended to you, your family and friends to join us this Sunbday at a Family Service at 11 a.m. when the Sunday School children will be taking part. Please note the Watchnight Service will take place in the Community Centre on December 24, meeting at 10.30 a.m. for tea and fellowship. The service will begin at 11.30 p.m. Everyone welcome. The flower calendar for 2015 is now full, a big thank you to everyone who donated flowers this year. The Rev. Monica MacDonald, Congregational Board and session would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a peaceful Happy New Year. Anyone requiring the services of a minister should contact the Rev. M. MacDonald on 01324 874807.
