Lodge Meeting

Due to the General Election being held on Thursday May 7 at Limerigg Village Hall, the building will be closed from noon Wednesday May 6, therefore the next meeting of L.O.L. 227 will take place on Thursday May 14 in Limerigg Village Hall at 7.30 p.m.

Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. Monica MacDonald. On door duty was Charlene Condeco, scripture readings were by Robert Campbell. The kids Club has now resumed and meets every Sunday at 11 a.m., same time as church service. All children from three years of age are welcome to come along and make new friends while enjoying arts and crafts, games and bible stories. All non perishable goods are still needed for the foodbank and can be brought along any Sunday. Anyone requiring the services of a minister should contact the Rev. Angling Club

Permits to fish on the River Avon for season 2015 are now on sale. They are available from Linda’s Store (Slamannan); Rod and Creel (Carronshore); Go Fishing (Grahams Road, Falkirk); Maryanne’s Alterations (Bo’ness); Linlithgow Post Office; Curries Printers, Broxburn; and Livingston Angling (Houston Industrial Estate). SWI Meeting

Following the intimation last week regarding the change of venue for our AGM on Wednesday, May 6, I am pleased to let you know that we will meet in Slamannan Bowling Club at 7 p.m. as usual. Hope to see you all there.
