Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Reverend Helen Cook. On door duty were Fiona Miller and Robert Campbell. Readings were made by Ray Buchanan, Lady Jane and Westerlea. A warm welcome awaits you all this Easter Sunday at 11.15 a.m. and is a family service and the Sunday School will be taking part. The next social event will take place on Saturday, May 31 in Slamannan Bowling Club. Ticket will be on sale soon. Green Opening

The opening of the green ceremony at Slamannan Bowling Club will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 6.30 p.m.

Angling Club

Permits to fish on the River Avon for season 2014 are now on sale and will make an idea stocking filler. They are available from Linda’s Store (Slamannan); Rod and Creel (Carronshore); Go Fishing (Grahams Road, Falkirk) and also in Maryanne’s Alterations (Bo’ness), Linlithgow Post Office, Curries Printers in Broxburn and Livingston Angling (Houston Industrial Estate).
