Parish Church

Last Sunday’s service was conducted by the Rev. Louise McClements assisted by Amanda MacQuarrie. On Sunday afternoon, the church offered hospitality to those taking part in the Shieldhill 100 year commemoration parade organised by the Braes War Commenoration Society. This Sunday, a short Service of Remembrance will be held at the Shieldhill War Memorial beginning at 9.45 a.m. before the usual service in church at 10 a.m. Children and apprentices meet at the usual time of 9.45 a.m. The Banner/Craft Group meet on Friday, November 12, at 1.30 p.m. when ‘The Zetland Singers’ will entertain. All are welcome. Sunday services are being recorded and a CD is available to anyone who is unable to attend church or who is housebound. Gospel Hall

Timeout-14, the Friday programme for boys and girls, continues on Friday at 6.30 p.m. with choruses, quizzes, a Bible story, biscuits and juice. All boys and girls are invited, with mums and dads as well. The Christian Gospel will be preached on Sunday at 3.30 p.m. by Mr Michal Powlesland from Dunfermline.. All are invited to come and hear this important message.The Mums and Tots continues on Wednesday morning at 9.30 a.m. with play facilities free and tea and coffee available.
