Community Wing

Shieldhill Community Education Wing is holding an Emergency General Meeting at the Wing on Tuesday at 7.20 p.m. All are welcome. The Senior and Junior Youth Clubs start back on Monday and Wednesday.

Gospel Hall

Timeout-14, the Friday programme for boys and girls, will resume tomorrow (Friday) at 6.30 p.m. with a programme of choruses, quizzes, a Bible story, and juice and biscuits. All children are invited - and mums and dads as well. The Christian Gospel will be preached on Sunday evening at 6.30 p.m. (note time). All are invited to come and hear this important message. The Mums and Tots resumed yesterday (Wednesday) with free play facilities for children and tea and coffee on supply for the parents. Mums are free to come and go as they please. Parish Church

Last Saturday’s service was conducted by Rev. Louise McClements. Rev. David Smith, Moderator of Falkirk Presbytery, attended and conveyed greetings from the Presbytery on the 150th anniversary of the church. Sunday school and apprentices meet this Sunday at 9.45 a.m. in the church hall. The banner/craft group meet Friday, January 9, from 2-4 p.m. in the church hall. Sunday services are recorded and a CD is available for those who are housebound or unable to attend church.
