Secondary school pupils from Falkirk creating junk outfits
Junk Kouture Scotland asked pupils across the country to design clothes from junk.
And the list of finalists is bursting at the seams with designers from Falkirk schools.

From Braes High School, Alisha Warner and Abbie Mel are A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Jody McHugh, Emma McAuslan, Stephanie Connell and Eve Clark make up Flowers of Scotland and Rebecca Johnston and Kate Peggie are Conglomeration.
Also from Braes High School is Queen of Hearts – Lauren Newlands, Kelowna Dickson and Lauren Hunter, while The Lady Times are Jade Denholm, Kirsty McDonald and Kerry Monro.

Hide AdFrom Graeme High School, Mirium Wylie, Lauren Monaghan and Eva Bonner are Trash Fashion.
The competition tasks the teams with creating a couture design from scratch using only recycled materials or junk.
This is to highlight the importance of recycling within schools.
Braes High School art teacher Caroline MacLeod said: “We are so proud of our pupils for reaching the final.
“This competition conveys the importance of recycling but also allows pupils to showcase their talents.”
