Safe haven in Falkirk for festive revellers

PEOPLE will have a safe place to go if things get a little too 'festive' in Falkirk over Christmas and New Year.

The Safe Base will be staffed by Falkirk Council's community education team, the British Red Cross and a Scottish Ambulance Service paramedic, Signpost Recovery and street pastors.

Sergeant Derek Simpson, Falkirk licensing officer, said: "We are just one of the partners involved in the Safe Base and see it as a great facility for Falkirk town centre over the festive period.
