Free Colliers

On Sunday, a parade in commemoration of the War is to be held in Shieldhill, which the Free Colliers will be taking part in. The Parade starts at noon from Shieldhill football park. The Grand Master would appreciate a good turnout from the brethern. Dress code is tails or a dark suit with your sash and a poppy instead of our white carnation.

Methodist Church

It was with great pleasure to see so many people at worship last Sunday. Many friends and family members were attendant to witness the blessing bestowed on Orla Hartley, younger daughter of Amanda and Philip Hartley. Girls’ Brigade members were also in attendance receiving awards in various categories for their hard work during the last year. At the conclusion of devotions, it was heartening to see so many people stay behind to enjoy the welcoming soup and roll lunch. Not only to partake of the tasty food, but also to engage in banter and catch-up with friends and family. This Sunday, the service is conducted by Miss Anne Lochhead from Armadale. Welcoming you to Wallacestone Church will be Dorothy Tavendale and Jessie Young.

Halloween Party
