Burns Night

1st Reddingmuirhead Girls’ Brigade is hosting a Burns supper and Scottish night to raise funds for the company and Wallacestone Methodist Church. This will be held tomorrow (Friday) from 7.30 p.m. in the Community Centre in Reddingmuirhead. It includes supper and entertainment and is a Bring Your Own Bottle event. Tickets are available from Allison on 07791 310 508. The evening includes a piper, speeches, entertainment and supper, all for the bargain price of £5. Donations of raffle prizes will be gratefully received.

Afternoon Tea

An Afternoon Tea (for men and ladies) is being held in the Methodist Church in Reddingmuirhead on Saturday, March 7 between 2-4 p.m. Tickets are £4 and there will be stalls available to treat yourself or buy a gift for Mother’s Day the following weekend. You can pay at the door, but numbers attending would be appreciated. Contact Allison on 07791 310 508 for details.

Free Colliers

The next meeting is the AGM to be held next Thursday at 7.30 p.m. Our book ‘Let Brotherly Love Continue’, written by Ian Scott, providing the history of the Free Colliers is now available from the lodge priced £8.

Methodist Church

Rev. Bill Seymour leads worship on Sunday which includes the sacrament of Holy Communion. Welcoming you to this service will be David and Linda Jamieson. Haven’t seen your friends for a while? Catch up with them over tea/coffee. This is always a very informal time of fellowship.
