The Royal Hotel in Bonnybridge could be set for a transformation – into a public house with residential flats.

An application has been lodged by Colin Dennis to make changes to the hotel at 71 High Street, to include five residential homes on the same floor as the pub and in the two floors above.

A decision will be made by the council in August, at the earliest, on whether to approve the application.
