Speaking on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show this morning, the First Minister said it would be “absurd” if the SNP were taken to court on the matter of an independence referendum for Scotland.

Ms Sturgeon said the current priority is focusing on handling the pandemic and now is ‘not the time’ for another referendum.

Yet, Ms Sturgeon commented she ‘wouldn’t rule’ out legislation coming to the Scottish Parliament at the beginning of next year
