It is understood two ballot papers were placed in evidence bags by officers at the EU Referendum count in Grangemouth Sports Complex before being taken away.

Counting staff were also spoken to.

It is believed to have involved claims of impersonation of a voter.

The declaration of votes for the Falkirk Council area is expected shortly before 3pm.
