Revolut users can use the financial technology company’s electronic donations feature to raise vital funds for veterans as part of the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

Linlithgow and East Falkirk MP Martyn Day is calling on the 6000 Revolut users in his constituency to play their part in supporting the cause during the Covid-19 pandemic by automatically rounding up their cards transactions to the nearest pound and instantly donating the difference.

Revolut users can also make regular recurring payments or one-off donations.

The service is completely free for the Royal British Legion and 100 per cent of each donation goes directly to the Poppy Appeal.

Mr Day said: “I am delighted to support Revolut’s innovative partnership with the Royal British Legion.

“This is a great example of an innovative company using world-class technology to support our communities at a very difficult time.”
