Plans lodged to build almost 250 homes at Denny farm

Avant Homes has submitted a planning application to build 248 new homes at Mydub Farm in Denny.

The application has been made after a community consultation that was held online, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The new houses will be part of the Denny south-east settlement expansion, and an extension of Mydub Phase 1 to the east.

The developers say it will create a "high quality new neighbourhood" which will enhance connections to the existing town and to the surrounding core path network as well as introducing new areas of open space and landscaping.

Avant Homes has submitted a planning application to build 248 new homes at Mydub Farm in Denny.

They also say the new housing will bring the long-awaited Denny Eastern Access Road extension to the north a step closer.

A children’s play area will be established in the centre of the development.

A separate planning application was also submitted to Falkirk Council by Avant to build 19 houses on land to the west of Cuthelton Farm.
