Successful applicants will receive a one-off payment of £3000.

Only a handful of businesses in the Falkirk area have applied through Falkirk Council since the Scottish Government announced the launch of its Bed & Breakfast Hardship Fund last week.

Eligible businesses must include those offering bed & breakfast services – this fund excludes other types of accommodation such as self-catering, caravan accommodation or Airbnb.

B&Bs and restaurants are urged to apply for the grant

More information on who is eligible and how to apply is on Falkirk Council’s website.
