Falkirk Council update on annual garden competition

Falkirk Council has announced that its popular garden competition will not be going ahead in the summer.
They acknowledge that lots of people will be spending more time in their gardens but admit that they don’t have the staff available to organise the event due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Hide AdCouncillor Paul Garner, spokesperson for environment said: “We recognise that many people will have been making the most of their gardens during the lockdown period, however, due to the constraints on our officers at the present time caused by the Covid-19 situation the Council is unable to deliver this year’s garden competition.”
