Council underspent last year's budget
Falkirk Council underspent its 2015/16 budget by just under one per cent latest figures reveal.
It started the last financial year with £339.8 million in the ‘kitty’ but net spending was 0.7 per cent below that creating a surplus in the general fund of £2.3 million.
The council’s executive was told the figures will be subject to a final review by the auditors.
