Coronavirus restrictions: Falkirk tier revealed in new Scottish Government system

Falkirk district has been given a new designation in the Scottish Government’s new five-tier coronavirus restrictions system.

The ‘very high’ Level 3 branding means alcohol sales will not be permitted indoors or outdoors in the region, however, cafes, pubs and restaurants can stay open until 6pm but only to serve food and non-alcoholic drinks.

The restrictions will come into effect on Monday, November 2 from 6am and will be reviewed on a weekly basis.

The Scottish Government will review the situation each Tuesday.
