Falkirk police have a stark message for all drug dealers in the area - find yourself a new line of business because the cops are coming for you.

The force is on a mission in 2015 to detect more dealers than they did in the previous 12 months, when they reported 168 people to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal.

It’s a tough approach, but not without compassion as officers also look to make sure the dealers they arrest and their families get the support they need by working closely with the Alcohol and Drug Partnership.

Chief superintendent Kenny Macleod, of Forth Valley Division, said: “The first thing we need to get across is we listen to our communities - they have said they are concerned about drug dealing and want us to make that a priority.
