Police name man killed in Forth Valley crash

Police received a report of an incident involving a black Vauxhall Astra on the A9 Bannockburn Road at its junction with Braehead Road in Stirling at around 10pm last night.
The force has confirmed the driver of the car, Andrew Black (57), from Tullibody, died a short time after being taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert.

Hide AdHis next of kin have been made aware and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
Sergeant David Marr, of the Forth Valley Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with Mr Black's family and friends at this time.
“We are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances which led to this collision. Anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident 3813 of August 3.”
