British Transport Police have released an image of a man they want to speak to after a woman was abused at a Falkrik train station.

The incident happened on Monday, October 12 at around 5.15pm when the 37-year-old woman verbally abused at Falkirk High station.

The man in the photograph boarded the 17:26 Falkirk High to Glasgow Queen Street service but is believed to have got off the train at before Glasgow and may reside in Bishopbriggs.

He is described as being around 5ft 10in, of slim build with black hair and a sleeve tattoo on his left arm. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black t-shirt with KARL in white lettering, blue jeans and white trainers.

BTP officers believe he may be able to assist them with their enquiries and are urging members of the public with information to come forward.
