Falkirk Police have vowed to do all they can to keep the area’s roads as safe as possible.

After a recent public consultation identified road safety as a continuing priority, officers have been out in force, carrying out various initiatives and patrols designed to address speeding, accident black spots and seatbelt and mobile phone driving offences.

Inspector Paul Rollo said: “Police in Falkirk remain committed to keeping our roads safe for everyone. Despite recent enforcement activity we continue to see people who are jeopardising their own safety and the safety of others by driving while using mobile phones, while under the influence of drink or drugs or speeding.

“I would urge motorists to drive and use their vehicles safely.”
