Police appeal to help find missing 50-year old man

People in Forth Valley have been asked to look out for a missing man.

Scott Lowrie, missing from Cumbernauld

Police in Lanarkshire are appealing for information to help trace 50-year-old Scott Lowrie.

He was last seen leaving an address on Hazel Road, Cumbernauld, and heading towards the woodland at the rear of Fannyside Road around 10am on Saturday.

Scott is described as a white man, around 5ft 10in tall with receding short grey hair.

At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a green parka jacket and blue jeans.Inspector Neil Macleod, of Cumbernauld Community Policing, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Scott’s welfare and are appealing to members of the public to help trace him safe and well.

“He was last seen heading into the wooded area at the rear of Fannyside Road.“Scott was also walking with his Staffordshire bull terrier dog at the time which has since been found safe and well.”Call 101 and quote incident number 2648 of 30/11/20.
